Blackberry Ice Tea Cocktail
Lightly sweetened ice tea with refreshing fresh juicy blackberries! This tea is the perfect way to cool down poolside on a hot day!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups 1 1/2 cups blackberry schnapps. Equals about 7 1/2 shots. Use less if you prefer lower alcohol. These pack quite a punch…so tread lightly!
- 2 large-sized ice tea bags, I used Luzianne
- 7 cups water
- 1 large lemon, sliced
- 2 cups fresh blackberries, plus more for garnish
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- ice
Instructions
- In a food processor or large bowl, puree or mash blackberries. Add sugar and stir. Set aside. Brew ice tea according to box directions.Pour tea over blackberry mixture, and stir. Let sit for 1 hour at room temperature.Pour mixture through a wire-mesh strainer into a large pitcher. Add brandy and stir well.Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.Serve with ice, blackberries, and lemon slices.Cheers!
