Easy Sautéed Green Beans
- 8 ounces fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- toasted sesame seeds (optional)
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Salt and pepper, stir to coat in oil. Add green beans and cook, stirring often until the beans are blistering and browning in areas, 7 to 9 minutes.Add garlic and cook, stirring constantly until the garlic is fragrant and browning, about 1 minute. Add toasted sesame seeds, if desired to green beans.Serve immediately.
